About the Media Center
The Media Center is located in the center of the building. There is a computer lab attached to the Media Center, and there are also groups of computers available for students to use daily in the Media Center. The Media Center is also attached to the Science Lab which has many purposes!
I'm Mrs. Scarlett Camaj, Media Specialist at Violet Elementary. I have had the privilege to be the Media Specialist at Violet Elementary since 2007. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education (with a Social Studies focus), and I have my Masters' Degree in Media Library Information Science. I was a regular elementary classroom teacher before coming to Violet, but I have always enjoyed reading and technology so much that I wanted to share my joy with others as a Media Specialist. I have been focusing a lot on having students use a variety of different technology daily, and I thought that having an interactive website would be beneficial.
